The historical moment we are living in, forces us to avoid going out unless necessary, severely limiting people’s sociability. This means we tend to think back on places we love and haven’t been to for a long time, or to dream of places we haven’t been yet and would love to explore. The sea, mountains, cities, lakes, the countryside... very different landscapes, but ones we are all capable of imagining, which means that when we daydream about them, it’s as if we were really there: this is the leitmotif of the Suprema Ad campaign for its Spring-Summer 2021 collection. A stream of consciousness leads the mind to explore new horizons, presented in Pop Art comic strips, one of the most colourful and vivacious graphic styles there is.
In its Spring-Summer 2021 collection, Suprema has focused on the reinterpretation of iconic leather outerwear: the blazer, the shirt, the timeless biker jacket, and the wrap coat. The materials, of the highest quality as per the brand’s tradition, have been chosen for their lightness: very thin leathers (3-4 mm) make it possible to create garments that feel like a second skin. The suede, a high-quality leather that has always been present in the Suprema collections, is also available in bold colours like orange and sky blue, as well as revisited with animal prints for a touch of glamour. The tailored silhouettes of the outerwear are particularly noticeable in the iconic blazer, made of fine untreated Nappa leather.
There is no shortage of sporty garments for everyday use: cropped jackets, bomber jackets, and biker jackets, made of leathers with a vintage effect obtained by artisanal hand-buffing.
